Glitter is actually Metallic Slow Fall Confetti and one of our most popular effects.
Whether fired from a confetti cannon or Co2 powered Super Blaster, or dropped from a Swirl Fan, Glitter adds a sparkle to any event and makes a great finale to any show.
Our glitter is made from the best quality Mylar plastic so it looks stunning when it is falling and especially when struck with strong lights and lasers. All our Glitter products are both flame retardant and non conductive as standard.
We also now have stocks of our New Laser confetti available in Gold and Silver which gives the same kind of rainbow reflection of a holograph, creating a spectacular multicolored glitter effect.
Glitter can be delivered in several ways.
The most popular delivery system is the co2 powered electric cannons, each cannon holds 400g (a lot!) of loose glitter, when power is applied, the cannon bursts a small co2 cartridge and the pressure shoots the contents forward up to 10 meters.
The reason they are so popular is that they are instantly effective, meaning it can be cued to happen just like pyro. They are also totally directional so the spread can be managed. These cannons are ideal if you have a lighting rig and no glitter can get on the lights, they can simply be shot downwards below the lights.
The next most popular delivery method is using Co2 operated venturi cannons. These cannons are big and impressive and deliver vast amounts of glitter very quickly, generally only 2 or 4 are needed for most jobs as they are so powerful. There are 2 types of blower available, one is a high altitude and the other is high volume.
The high altitude uses a narrow horn to help shoot the glitter 25 meters into the air, the other type uses a fat stubby horn that is a monster at churning out frightening amounts of mess that would mortify even the most committed of cleaners!

Other methods of delivering glitter are tumblers, these slowly rotate and allow small amounts of confetti to fall through holes, these are good for gentle effects. Hand held cannons for where there is nowhere to put anything and no power!. Pyrotechnic cartridges – very small and discreet – they also go with a bang!
Glitter Airbursts (also known as glitter bombs) are excellent, they are discreet and give an excellent spread with a loud bang! – excellent for hanging in the apex of marquees.
